A master list for designers looking to level up their book design skills. This downloadable 11″ x 17″ poster showcases 3 majors checklists that we use to:
- come up with our cover ideas
- ensure our interiors are of top quality, and
- review our final files before they go off to print.
After downloading the files, you can print as many copies as you need or leave it as a digital file on your desktop to refer to as needed!
All proceeds will be donated to The Indian Residential School Survivors Society.
How to print:
- Print at home using good-quality card or art paper.
- Print at your local copy shop or online printing service. Use Satin or matt card stock paper. A heavier paper stock will work better as poster but any paper weight over 65 lb will work well.
- Upload to an online print shop such as Staples.
- Ensure your print is 11″ wide x 17″ high as that will ensure the type will be legible though you can scale the print down if desired.
The fine print:

- Color may slightly vary due to variations in your monitor’s settings and in printer differences.
